A Magical Halloween

Witches, Warlocks, Elves, Goblins, Fairies and other magical creatures of the deep, dark forests, flock to Nørrebro Kunsthus on this Samhain day when the veil between the worlds is extra thin. Rock formations and plants have covered our house inside and an ancient tree has grown up in the middle of the great hall, spilling blood and guts from within. We must make sacrifice to the old gaelic gods as we prey for a good winter and we must also light bonfires to help the spirits of those we have lost pass on to the world beyond. There is magic in the air and anything is possible on this mysterious night! PROGRAM: Our MAGICAL HALLOWEEN consists of TWO PARTS: PART I: 20:00-23:45: We emphasize less on loud music, which will mainly consist of an atmospheric backdrop as our guests arrive, get acquainted and take lots of pictures of their great costumes! From 22:00-23:45 ELECTRIC ENEMY will play some spooky music for you. Small happenings will occur all around the house as our domestic ghouls and goblins put on a show for you. In the Witch's House she will be brewing a nasty, yet tasty concoction and perhaps you can get your palm read by the Fortune Teller at the bar. TRANSITION: 23:45: We will perform a great ritual that all the unfortunate souls who are present at the party will be invited to take part in. PART II: 00:00-04:00: At the strike midnight the Witching Hour Begins! Our domestic DJ-geenies will boost your magical potion with some dance-inducing beats and get all the creatures of the night a-rocking until the party ends! MORE INFO: ENTRANCE: is FREE! - but you MUST wear a costume! Come dressed as whatever you like! THE BAR AND WARDROBE: You can get your bubbly brews at cheep prices in our bar and you will be able to leave your forest-jacket and heavy goblin-bags in our wardrobe for free. The wardrobe will be placed within eye-sight of our bar, but the usage of it is at your own risk. OPENING HOURS: Our doors are open from 20pm-04am and you can arrive exactly when you choose. A FEW EXTRA WORDS: We ask you kindly to take good care of our building when you visit us. We are not a party-place, but rather an art collective where our 20 members work on their creative projects every day. We all pay out of our own pockets to keep the place and everything we own is our personal stuff. We don't have any money to replace them. We have been making unique decorations and props since summer and ask you to please respect all the work we have put into creating a magical evening especially for you.
