In the summer of 2006, during the Copenhagen Queer Festival of that year, the visual artist and filmmaker Lasse Lau organized a workshop on the queer geographies of Copenhagen.
This lead on to similar research workshops in Tijuana, Mexico in 2010 and in Beirut, Lebanon in 2011.
Material from these three cities, from the workshops and from artists, activists and scholars reflecting on the specificities of place and gender are now collected in this publication.
The book is Edited by Lasse Lau, Mirene Arsanios, Felipe Zuñiga-González, Mathias Kryger and Omar Mismar and is published by Museet for Samtidskunst, Roskilde.
