Tried to re-book for another visit to Copenhagen and learned that the Copenhagen Rainbow is now closed. See the website for details.
Spartan decor befitting "Danish modern"
This place is in a fantastic location, and caters to a totally gay & lesbian clientele. For people from other cultures, the simplicity, no-nonsense Danish style can seem quite sterile and cold. That's just the way it is. We have stayed with Klavs (pronounced Klaus) a couple of times. Just remember that Scandinavians are a bit more reserved and formal. Quite frankly-- they are the opposite of Italians. So don't expect the warm welcome you receive in Latin countries. It's not their style. The hosts go off to work each day, so you're on your own. But, the amenities are nice and much appreciated.
